January 2007:

It´s been a long time since I updated this website.

Much has happened.

I´ve had some good friends from the US visiting me. The Moore family stopped by. It´s always great fun to meet John and his family. Also Tom Nechville came to see me. He followed me and my family to the Granna Bluegrass festival and then he and I went to the Tonder festival in Denmark, where I helped him exhibit some of his instruments. The first person we met when we arrived in Tonder was Toms longtime friend Casey Driessen. I hadn´t seen Casey since I met him in Ireland in 05, so it was great to see and listen to him again. He truly is an amazing fiddle player and a great guy. I also did some fun jamming with Gerry O´Connor and Gordon Titcomb.

Been working on new music material, both some of my own and also with “The Ficktones”.

In August (2006) I was asked to play at a wedding together with singer and songwriter Linda Harbers. We had so much fun, that we decided to continue to play together as a duo. We´ve built a repertoire and also plan on recording some songs. I will post info about this as things proceed.

A real highlight for me last year was Michael Flatley bringing his show “Celtic Tiger” to Sweden. Michael Flatley is one of my absolute biggest idols and influences so it was great to see him perform live.

I´ve started to do some recording, using the “Cubase Recording Program”.  I still haven´t learned all the functions, but hopefully I will learned it properly soon.

Plans are to record with Ficktones, Linda Harbers and Bluecrash in the near future. I will post info about what happens.

March:

I have received my Custom Weber Yellowstone mandolin and I love it. For info about it - see the “Instruments” page.

Rehearsing with “Bluecrash” and arranging songs for “Ficktones”.

Still trying to figure out how my computer recording programme works.

Lots of projects started – Hopefully some of them will “fly” !

February:

Recording a demo with Bluecrash.

Trying to learn how my own recording programme works. Instruments make sense, computers don’t!

My Custom Weber Yellowstone Mandolin is finished, but I’ll have to wait til´ March to get it to Sweden. It has a lot of custom features, so I’m really anxious to get it. More info about this will be posted as things proceed.

I love good instruments!

January:

I have received my Weber octave Mandolin and it is a killer!

Playing it gives me a huge kick and inspiration. I’m really looking forward to doing some recording and some gigs with it.

Can’t wait til´ I get my Custom Yellowstone.

December:

I’m a happy man!

In addition to the Bridger octave Mandolin, “Weber Instruments” are building for me, they have also granted me an endorsement on a custom-made Weber Yellowstone Mandolin.

Once again, I want to send my deepest gratitude to Paula, Mike, Bruce and the guys at “Sound To Earth”.

Other news:I have ordered tickets to Michael Flatleys new show “Celtic Tiger” scheduled to take place in May in Karlstad. I’m very excited to see this show!

November:

Proud endorsee for Weber instruments!

I now have an artist endorsement with Weber Instruments.

They are building a Weber Bridger Octave Mandolin for me, expected to be finished in January 2006. I’m really looking forward to it and I want to send my gratitude to Paula, Bruce and the other guys at Sound to earth.

More info about this will be posted as things proceed.

October:

I visited the IBMA festival in Nashville, Tennessee. This festival is gigantic and to see and hear everything you want is close to impossible. I met some old friends and made some new.

Once again I got to see and listen to Béla Fleck.

This was a great festival and I got a dose of Bluegrass to last me a lifetime.

September:

I visited the Johnny Keenan Banjo Festival in Longford, Ireland.

What a great festival it was! Nice atmosphere and super artists.

Met my idol, Béla Fleck!!!!

He performed with Guitarist Bryan Sutton and Fiddle player Casey Driessen.

They made an amazing performance. The best show I´ve seen in my life.

Sutton and Driessen also did a show with the Carter Brothers – Needless to say it was a good show.

Many thanks to Chris Keenan and the rest of the “crew” for arranging this festival!
